• Freshman Gabe List leads the Bears with an eighth-place finish

Four members of the DMACC men's track & field team competed in the men's 800-meter run at the Dutch Severe Weather Invitational April 15 at Central College (CC) in Pella.

Freshman Gabe List of Watertown, S.D., freshman Dylan Jones of Milford, sophomore Hunter Landphair of Adel and freshman Owen Ament of Colfax ran in the event for the Bears with List leading the way with an eighth-place finish in 1 minute, 58.47 seconds. Jones was 11^th in 1:59.16 and Landphair and Ament were 22^nd and 38^th respectively. Landphair's time was 2:03.11 and Ament crossed the finish line in 2:11.41.

The Kip Janvrin Open April 23 and 24 at Indianola and the Drake Relays April 23, 24 and 25 at Des Moines are next on the DMACC men's track & field schedule.
