DMACC head coach Michael Melchert likes the potential his team has for the fall season. Page was one of the Bears' top runners last season and had a good track & field season last spring, including qualifying for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championships last spring.
"Getting Page back is good and we have a very good freshman class," Melchert said, adding that the 2025 roster includes just four sophomores. Page, Blix, Stoermer are joined on the roster by Hunter Landphair of Adel.
Melchert said he Page, Blix and Stoermer will make up three of the top five runners on the team with any number of freshmen having the potential to join them.
"We are pretty balanced," Melchert said. "I think we can win the regional meet and make the podium at the national championships."
The DMACC men's cross country team will run in the Dutch Open Sept. 26 at Pella.
