- Freshman Megan Wilde leads DMACC with a fourth-place finish
- Sophomore Haley Loonan and freshman Hannah Kenkel tie for tenth

Freshman Megan Wilde of Somerset, England, carded a 13-over-par 83 to lead the DMACC women's golf team to a fourth-place finish in the WP Spring Statesmen Shootout April 8 at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.
The Bears totaled 354 strokes over 18 holes and finished 25 strokes behind the winning total of 329 by Indian Hills Community College (IHCC). Upper Iowa University (UIU) was second with 341 strokes.
Wilde's round gave her a fourth-place finish in the individual competition. UIU's Addison Weber took medalist honors with a 7-over-par 77.
Other DMACC results saw sophomore Haley Loonan of Gilbert and freshman Hannah Kenkel of Waukee tie for 10th and freshmen Isabella Ross of Ankeny and Sydney Helgeson of Garner were 19th and 26th respectively.
Loonan and Kenkel turned in rounds of 88, Ross shot a 95 and Helgesen posted a 98.
The DMACC women's golf team will play in the Waterloo Intercollegiate April 17 and 18 at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo.
