The Bears got on the board in the sixth when Owen and Baumgart walked and Owen came home on a base hit by sophomore Austin Anderson of Marion.
NEICC, which fell to 3-26 overall and 0-9 in the ICCAC with its 13th consecutive loss, scored again in the top of the eighth for a 7-1 lead but DMACC clawed back to a 7-7 tie with six runs in the bottom of the inning.
