Four members of the DMACC women's golf team have been named to the 2024-25 Division II All-Region Women's Golf Team. The team was announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC).
DMACC sophomores Halle Hagberg of Polk City and Anne van Hemert of Eindhoven, Netherlands have been named to the first team and sophomore Lilly Houtakker of Solon and freshman Haley Loonan of Gilbert have been named to the second team.
DMACC women's golf coach Chris Seaboch has been named the All-Region Division II Coach of the Year.
Seaboch led the Bears to a successful spring season with the North Plains District championship and a tie for seventh place in the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Women's Golf Championship May 13 to 16 at Cedar Point Golf Course in Boone.
The Bears also won the Hawkeye Invitational and the NIACC Invitational and finished third in the Baker Invitational and the Mount Mercy Invitational.
Hagberg finished second in the individual competition in the North Plains District tournament and van Hemert tied for third. Loonan finished in sixth place and Houtakker was eighth.
Hagberg tied for 16th in the national championship, earning All-American honors. The Bears got a tie for 27th from van Hemert and Loonan and Houtakker tied for 44th and 59th respectively.
