The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has named DMACC's Megan Wilde the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II Women's Golf for the week of September 29 to October 5.
Wilde, a freshman from Somerset, England, is being honored for the first time this season and she is the only member of the DMACC women's golf team to be honored by the conference this season.
Wilde posted a four-over-par 74 to capture medalist honors and lead DMACC to a third-place finish in the Waldorf Fall Challenge Sept. 29 at Rice Lake Golf Course in Lake Mills.
Wilde's 74, which included six bogeys and two birdies, was her low round of the fall season.
The DMACC women's golf team will close out the fall season at the Snead State Fall Invitational Oct. 13 and 14 at Cherokee Ridge Golf Course in Union Grove, Ala.
