• Sophomore Jaycie Vohs leads the Bears with an 11^th-place finish
• Sophomore Dakota Tromblay places 14th
• Freshman Cece Thompson finishes in 16^th place

Three members of the DMACC women's track & field team competed in the Bill Bergan Classic January 16 at Ames.

The three, sophomores Jaycie Vohs of Galva and Dakota Tromblay of Ogden and freshman Cece Thompson of Clive competed in the mile run. Vohs led the way with an 11^th-place finish in 5 minutes, 29 seconds. Tromblay was 14^th with a time of 5:46 and Thompson posted a time of 5:56 in finishing 16^th.

Cailee Peterson of Minnesota Distance Elite won the event with a time of 4:35.

The DMACC women's track & field team will run in the Cyclone Open Jan. 23 at Ames.
