Two members of the DMACC women's track & field team competed in outdoor track & field meets April 10 and 11.
Sophomore Dakota Tromblay of Ogden ran in the women's 1500-meter run April 11 at the Mustang Distance Carnival in Cedar Rapids and finished second with a time of 5 minutes, 23.01 seconds. Claire Rye of William Penn University (WPU) won the event in 5:17.95.
DMACC sophomore Jaycie Vohs of Galva competed in the women's 5000-meter run April 10 at the Jim Duncan Invitational in Des Moines and finished 13th. Her time was 18:37.13. Meghan Wheatly of the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) turned in a time of 17:24.88 in winning the event.
The DMACC women's track & field team is scheduled to compete in the Meet of Champions April 17 and 18 at Rock Island, Ill.
